GHS To Require ID From All Visitors

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Beginning Wednesday, Greenville Hospital System will become the first hospitals in the Upstate to require visitors to show their identification.The hospital system's "fast pass" program will issue a temporary badge with a visitor's picture and in the hospital.Hospital officials said that visitors will be required to show a driver's license or other government-issued identification.
The process will take about a minute, hospital officials said, and will make GHS safer for patients and employees.
